Hi there,
I do love try and share new stuff. And this stuff might be completely random (games, apps, places, things, events and so on).
So I decided to come up with a short list of things I found and tried this week. Will do more digests like this and see how it goes.
đź“– Books & Articles
- “Thank you for your undivided attention” by Sunil Rajaraman — great article about the way we perceive and “process” our reality in the modern world.
- “City of Stairs” by R.J. Bennet. Still reading, the setting is a bit unusual for this kind of genre. Usually, it is Western looking middle ages in the majority of fantasy books. Here you have a mix of Asian (probably India) and East Europe. The story is also good as well.
🕹️ Games
- Detroit: Become Human (yup, I am putting a link on IMDB). Very, very gorgeous and rich story. The weekend I was playing this game, I literally was living there. And music. Music there is just magical.
🤓 Things
- Pocket Tripod. Handy thing. Received it after two years of waiting and tons of email to their support team. Comes very handy when you need to shoot a video of yourself, a timelapse in a hustle-free way.
- Mi Scale 2. This thing was around on the market for a while, and I bought mine recently and quiet happy with it. It looks slick and measures a lot of different things such a body fat mass, bones mass, etc.
📽 ️Videos
- “Speed” — G.Vaynerchuck. Thoughtful and motivational video of what is vital in the modern world of business.
🎧 Music
- Kara — Main Theme (from Detroit: Become Human). As mentioned before, the music in this game is pure magic. It tells the story. It gives you a goosebumps
- Dub Mafia — Share Love. Interesting structure and changing of the mood in the second part of the song.
📱 Apps
- Numi — Beautiful text-based calculator and one of the tools I use on a daily basis. It’s simple yet powerful. Love it!
